Overview
Vacil is an app that connects people to form groups or links based on interests and similarities that will help the user to find company to attend an event party or gathering. It is a convenient, easy way to communicate with others that are just like you to build new, exciting relationships that are hard to find nowadays! Vacil opens a door of possibilities for users to engage and share moments with others that will leave memories of a lifetime.
Mission
This new form of social media will help people connect to others and share conversation in a safe manner by inputing their location and interests to seek a calendar of occasions that people also in their area are intrigued to attend which, will spark relations throughout a community.
Challenge
One of the ways this app was challenged was by making safety the main priority to our users while also having fun and engaging with others. Safety was the main concern because as you meet new people and form connections, anyone can hide behind a screen and portray different versions of themselves.
Solution
To ensure that safety is our main concern, I decided to implement a system where each profile has a rating system and each user can review the person they connect with, as well as their history and saved events that they have attended in order to provide feedback and to prevent any issues.
